"Agreed," Adia says, smiling at him sweetly. His expression breaks into a side grin and he brushes off a bit of imaginary lint from his shirt, preening for her a little. She's about to say something else, but the bags of cotton candy distract her. "Oh, thank you, Harley," she says, taking one. "I haven't had cotton candy in ages..."
Caspar takes the other, holding it up and giving it a dubious look. "Is this edible?"
Adia laughs. "It's just spun sugar, Cas. It's sweet." She opens up her bag and offers him a pinch, which he accepts from her fingers without question. The way he purses his lips after swallowing suggests that he's still not sure if it's actual food or not, and Adia lets out another giggle. "It's okay if you don't like it. Harley, where are we going first? One of the rides?"
