All fun and games, until somone loses a limb (Viper's Pit)

Harley is coming to term with who she is as a person. And has accepted a lot of herself over the past few years in the Nexus. The biggest challenge was accepting the Joker's Toxin that still remained in her body, and how it could have any ill effect on her at any time. In a way, it was like even though Joker himself was dead... he still had that little bit of control over her.

And so Harley needed to find a way to embrace it, and not think of Joker whenever it got the best of her.

One of those ways was to allow herself to be violent. And that was the nice thing about the Viper's Pit. The fighting areas had many different set-ups, even ones where you didn't have to worry about the anti-violence field.

Harley was waiting by one of those fighting areas, blowing a bubble. A big sign near by... "Fight Harley Freaking Quinn. $10."

And way at the bottom, was the small print "All funds go to the Feed Harley Quinn Foundation"

Harley quickly finds her balance, before moving towards Ben. She flips towards him, the twirling of the fire sword makes the movement even more flamboyant. And when she lands near him, she aims a high kick to his face. Hoping that if he was expecting an attack with the sword... he won't expect a physical attack.

Ben nimbly darts back, but narrowly, bringing up his saber to discourage further attacks from the front. "Good move," he says through his teeth. "Keep it up." He's thinking back to his fight with Sariss, who used similar distraction techniques, and trying to counter them that way. Harley isn't a Force-user, but he's using what he learned from his other fights.

Harley quickly drops low, and revolves around Ben, keeping close to Ben, so she can try to aim a upper cut at his lower back.

Ben watches her closely - he's quick, but so is Harley, and he doesn't know her fighting style well enough to counteract it. He holds up his lightsaber to discourage a strike from the front, trying to keep an eye on her as Harley moves.

Harley is close to an aerobic fighter. She does a lot of flips and trips. And she easily dodges the lightsaber, keeping low to the ground. She rolls and bounces up.

She taps him on the shoulder. And aims a punch at his face if he turns to face her.

Thankfully for Ben, the Force tips him off that Harley's behind him, so he isn't fooled. He manages to avoid the punch, narrowly, darting a few steps away.

It was a good trick, and Harley's putting him on the defensive. He needs to fix that before he's not so lucky next time. Ben presses forward.

That is another part of Harley's fighting skills. She uses little tricks to gain an advantage.

Harley flips away from him, and turns and slices through the air with her sword, sending a fire wall towards him with the magic of the weapon. She needs to keep him on the defensive.

Ben's startled when Harley flips away from him, but the flames appear before he can do what he intended and press on the retreat. He hasn't encountered this weapon before and doesn't know what it can do.

So, that's what the fire sword is for. Ben is driven back by the fire wall, to his frustration, but continues to search for an opening.

With her size, Harley is keeping her distance. She aims another fire wall at Ben, keeping to the outer limits of the battle circle.

Ben figures that Harley's using the firewalls to keep him on his toes and keep him from closing in.

It's a good tactic. He continues to slink around, looking for a place to strike.

Fire is also fun to play with. And he might hear a soft laughter coming from Harley. The laughter has this odd little 'this feels off' tone to it. Like it is not coming from Harley, even though it is.

Harley aims another fire wall at Ben. And this time, with another off-beat laugh that might just be a tad creepy.... Harley Quinn flips through the flames, and lands in front of him, aiming a few kicks at his chest, and a upper cut to his face.

This might be the first time Ben has seen Harley under the effects of the Joker Toxin.
