Playtime with the Girls (open post)

Harley has been a little restless the past month or so. While there is still some random jobs she gets from the Nexus, and from her world, it really has not been keeping her busy enough. And she needs a distraction. A distraction from the bad stuff that went down in her life … and just needs to surround herself with good friends. And a party.

So she decides to throw a "Girls Only" night at her Coney Island roller derby. She gets the place set up with decorations, lots of liquor, and lots of food. There is a place for people to get up and sing karaoke in one corner. And a quieter couch area in another corner.

The main focus is on the roller derby rink itself, where Harley is currently skating a few rounds.

She convinced a certain Angel messenger to deliver the invites out to as far as he could, so anyone from the Nexus could drop on by. The only rule of the night... was this was a Girls Night only.

"It's good to hear that there are wishes from the holidays manifesting to truths." She's genuinely glad, despite a tendency to lie, Astaroth did find pleasure in seeing others to better places.

"I've built an observatory, another wish from the party, and busy myself learning the Nexus sky when Lucifer doesn't put me to work."

"Does the Nexus sky change as much as the regular Nexus does?"

"More, I think." Astaroth could talk forever about her research. "It makes sense. If this planet is constantly changing, it isn't outside reality for every other planet and solar system to be in equal flux. Some seem to have a pattern. The same pattern might govern the Nexus too? I don't know yet."

"I think it would be neat to see the changing systems. Maybe even see some star patterns that are foreign to me... but a normal sight for people on other worlds."

"You should come to the observatory and help me for a night, or more if you want." Astaroth would always take more help, especially from someone curious.

"I would love to visit. Might not stay the whole night..." Harley is one of those people who doesn't like to stay still for too long.

"I'd be happy to see you there. There are some gorgeous planets and features in the sky." Astaroth talked about the night sky like most people talked about lovers, full of happiness and passion.
